The hamlet of Brunn is part of the Lauterhofen market in the Upper Palatinate district of Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate .

Brunn is located about one and a half kilometers northeast of the center of Lauterhofen and is at an altitude of 460  m above sea level. NHN .

history

As a result of the administrative reforms carried out in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , the place became an independent rural community, which also included the villages of Bärnhof , Brünnthal , Fischermühle , Hadermühle , Hansmühle , Inzenhof , Marbertshofen , Mennersberg , Niesaß and Schweibach . In the course of the communal territorial reform carried out in Bavaria in the 1970s , most of the Brunn community was incorporated into the Lauterhofen community in 1972. In 2015 Brunn had 39 inhabitants.
