Freiberg is a district of the Lauterhofen market . It's a village.

Ecclesiastically Freiberg belongs to the parish of Traunfeld in the Habsberg deanery .

On May 1, 1978 Deinschwang was incorporated into Lauterhofen with Ballertshofen , Freiberg, Grafenbuch and Mettenhofen .

The St. Willibald, Wunibald and Walburga chapel from 1712 with a bell ridge is the only monument on site. In front of her are the two chapel linden trees that were planted at the same time as their building. However, the two monumental tree veterans are not protected as natural monuments.
