Heimatbund Märkischer Kreis
The Heritage Association Märkischer Kreis (HBMK) is statutorily umbrella organization for the local heritage societies and local curators in the field of Märkischen circle except for sauerländer heimatbund associated, former Electoral Cologne cities Menden and Balve and primarily responsible for over local heritage work at the county level.
The aim of the Heimatbund is to promote historical awareness, to cultivate customs and to awaken love for the homeland. It was founded in 1976.
The Heimatbund Märkischer Kreis is a member of the umbrella organization Westfälischer Heimatbund .
