The Heineke-Borco GmbH & Co. KG is the holding company under the name of Borco-Höhns known German manufacturer of mobile shop .

Products

Borco-Höhn's sales trolleys and market trailers are used, for example, as mobile sales points for bakeries, grocers, butchers, fish sellers and coffee bars.

history

The company, which was founded by Richard Höhns in 1954 in Bothel with three employees as a factory for agricultural and car trailers, relocated its headquarters with 35 employees to the district town of Rotenburg an der Wümme in 1960, where it is still today. Borco Höhns had 330 employees in 2000, sales in 1999 amounted to DM 100 million and, with a 35% market share, was the market leader for the so-called "rolling business". 1,000 units were produced annually. In 2005 the turnover was 44 million euros and the number of employees was 300. In 2008 the company was awarded the first Rotenburg business award. In 2018 Lothar Geißler left the company as managing director. Andreas Elsäßer and Alexander Starnecker are his successors.

  • Tamhart Fahrzeugbau GmbH in Rotenburg an der Wümme, founded in Bothel in 1975, has been part of the Borco-Höhns Group since 2004
  • Seba GmbH & Co. KG in Rotenburg an der Wümme, based in Hohenaverbergen until 2010 , with the Spewi brand. Spewi used to be an independent company founded in 1981 by Klaus Spengler and Kurt Wilders in Cologne. From 1999 to 2003 it was located in Brühl and then until 2010 at the Seba site in Hohenaverbergen
  • The Tamhart brand was discontinued in August 2015 as there are no differences between Borco Höhns and Tamhart.

Rotenburg's honorary citizen, Hinrich Heineke, was the company's managing director as a technical businessman from 1955 to 1996 and was a partner until his death in 2009.

Borco Höhns offers its customers a 24-hour service, in every German federal state at least one sales area manager and 7 service partners (Gelsenkirchen, Balingen, Augsburg, Werne, Erkheim, Brühl and Berlin).

Every year Borco organizes a trade fair for its customers on the production site in Rotenburg an der Wümme where all innovations are presented. These take place in March and October.
