Heiner Kreuzer

Heiner Kreuzer (born January 20, 1944 in Breslau ; † June 21, 1985 in Hamburg ) was a Lower Saxony politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Kreuzer grew up in Bad Münder / Deister and attended elementary school there until 1954. He then moved to the grammar school in Hameln and graduated from high school in 1963. This was followed by two years of military service in the Bundeswehr , which he left as a lieutenant in the reserve . Kreuzer began his studies for elementary and secondary school teaching (chemistry, mathematics, sports) at the Hanover University of Education between 1966 and 1969. He passed his exam in 1969. Already during his studies he was an employee in the student interest group (student parliament, general student committee).

In 1970 he became press spokesman for the SPD parliamentary group in the Lower Saxony state parliament for a period of four years. After this activity, he began an additional course in adult education and passed his exams as a qualified pedagogue in 1976. After graduating, he worked in various positions as a pedagogical employee in adult education. In his last job he was employed as the educational director of the Lower Saxony Regional Association of Folk High Schools . Kreuzer was a member of the Education and Science Union and the Pro Familia organization .

Kreuzer became a member of the SPD in 1969. For the SPD, he moved as a member in the tenth electoral period in the Lower Saxony state parliament from June 21, 1982 to June 21, 1985 and was responsible for the Lüchow-Dannenberg constituency for the SPD. During this time he lived in Hitzacker until his death .
