Heinrich Wolgast Prize

The Heinrich Wolgast Prize was awarded in 1986 by the Education and Promotion Agency (BFW) of the Education and Science Union (GEW) in the DGB e. V. to promote the representation of the world of work in children's and youth literature . The literature prize , donated in memory of the reform pedagogue Heinrich Wolgast , was awarded every three years between 1986 and 2011 by the Working Group for Youth Literature and Media (AJuM) of the GEW and was endowed with 4,000 euros. It has been awarded every two years since 2013 and is endowed with 2000 euros.
