Heinrich Adolf Krone

Heinrich Adolf Krone (born April 12, 1925 in Berlin ) is a German gynecologist . Between 1962 and 1990 he was director of the State Women's Clinic and Midwifery School in Bamberg .

Life

Heinrich Adolf Krone is the son of the former Federal Minister Heinrich Krone , and the brother-in-law of the former member of the Bundestag Ursula Krone-Appuhn . He has been married to Elisabeth Büchner since 1953 and has six children.

Krone studied medicine in Berlin, Göttingen and Freiburg and was awarded a Dr. med. PhD. Further training in gynecology and obstetrics followed in 1953 . In 1960 he completed his habilitation in Munich.

In 1962 Krone was appointed director of the state gynecological clinic and midwifery school in Bamberg by the Bavarian minister of education, Theodor Maunz . He was chairman of the Bavarian Society for Obstetrics and Gynecology from 1981 to 1983.

In 1968 he was appointed adjunct professor at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . In addition, Adolf Krone was a member of the teaching staff at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg . For ten years, Krone also held a teaching position for social medicine at the University of Bamberg . His teaching and research areas are histomorphology, histopathology, early carcinoma detection, prenatal care (including the development of a "maternity record"). He has published more than 110 scientific publications.

In 1966, Heinrich Adolf Krone was appointed Knight of the Order of the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher by Cardinal Grand Master Eugène Cardinal Tisserant and invested in Augsburg Cathedral on December 3, 1966 by Lorenz Cardinal Jaeger , Grand Prior of the German Lieutenancy . He is Commander with the Star of the Order.
