Heinrich Clavey

Heinrich Clavey (born March 4, 1918 in Hessisch-Oldendorf , Grafschaft Schaumburg, † September 8, 2000 ) was a German civil servant and politician ( SPD ).

After attending primary school in Hessisch-Oldendorf, Clavey switched to middle school in Hameln , which he graduated with a secondary school leaving certificate. Between 1934 and 1937 he did a commercial apprenticeship at the Rinne shoe factory in Hessisch-Oldendorf. From November 1937 to 1945, Clavey was a soldier in the Air Force. After the end of the Second World War , he was taken prisoner by the English. After his release from captivity in 1946 he was employed by the district administration in Rinteln. Here he had been working as a district youth worker since May 1948. In June 1958 he was appointed civil servant and appointed district inspector. In March 1962 he was promoted to chief district inspector. In 1970 he became a clerk at the Official Home Office in Hameln. Clavey was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament in the sixth electoral term between June 6, 1967 and June 20, 1970 and again in the eighth electoral period from June 21, 1974 to June 20, 1978.
