Heinrich Eckermanns

Heinrich Eckermanns (born September 10, 1867 in Aachen , † June 28, 1940 in Berlin ) was a German AOK managing director and politician ( SPD ).

biography

Eckermanns was the son of a master carpenter. From 1898 to 1910 he was Rendant of the Allgemeine Ortskrankenkasse (AOK) in Rathenow and from 1906 to 1910 chairman of the supervisory board of the consumer association of Rathenow. From 1910 to 1933 he was managing director of the AOK in Bremerhaven . In between he served as a soldier in the First World War.

politics

Eckermanns became a member of the SPD before 1892. From 1908 to 1910 he was a city councilor in Rathenow. In March 1919 he was a delegate to the 2nd Council Congress in Berlin. After the First World War he was a member of the Bremen National Assembly in 1919/1920 and a member of the Bremen citizenship from 1920 to 1923 and 1924 to 1933 .
