Heinrich Grimberg
Heinrich Grimberg (* 26. June 1833 in Bochum ; † 24. March 1907 ) was a German trades and mining - entrepreneurs .
In 1856 he founded the Minister Stein colliery in Eving together with the Essen businessman Theodor Sprenger .
In 1872 he founded the Lorraine colliery in Gerthe together with Fritz Funke , Carl Ernst Korte , Johann Wilhelm Schürenberg , Carl Waldthausen and Friedrich Wilhelm Waldthausen .
In 1873 he founded the Monopol colliery in Kamen and Bergkamen together with Friedrich Grillo .
In 1894 he founded the Wintershall drilling company in Heringen an der Werra with its headquarters in Bochum together with the Kamen drilling entrepreneur Carl Julius Winter .
In 1933 his daughter Maria Marckhoff described her father's career in her handwritten memoirs, which are now kept in the Westphalian Economic Archives.
