Heinrich Hestermann (born January 16, 1869 in Moorlingen , † February 18, 1952 in Petershagen ) was a farmer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Hestermann attended elementary school in Petershagen and grammar school in Minden and Herford . He initially devoted himself to agriculture and then worked for five years as a civil servant in the agricultural cooperative system. He owned a small agricultural business, combined with an art and commercial gardening business. In 1901 he bought Petershagen Castle , which is still owned by the family today.

He served in Infantry Regiment No. 15 . He was the deputy electoral district chairman in the farmers 'union and co-founder of the German farmers' union . He was also a member of the city council in Petershagen.

From 1912 to 1918 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Kassel 3 administrative district ( Fritzlar , Homberg , Ziegenhain ) and the German farmers' union. At first he was a guest of the National Liberals and then left the German Farmers' Union and as a guest of the National Liberals again.
