Heinrich Hildebrand (engineer, Bitburg)

Heinrich Hildebrand (born March 12, 1855 in Bitburg , † August 29, 1925 in Berlin-Schöneberg ) was a German railway engineer.

Life

Hildebrand passed the Abitur in 1874 at the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Gymnasium in Trier , after which he studied at the Berlin Polytechnic .

He was involved in the construction of various railway lines in Germany, from 1891 to 1908 for the Schantung Railway and shortly before the First World War in railway construction in Brazil.

Hildebrand was buried in his hometown of Bitburg. A residential complex there is named after him.
