Heinrich Honegger

Heinrich Honegger (*? In Rüti ; † August 14, 1866 there ) was a Swiss entrepreneur . He was the brother of Caspar Honegger (1804-1883).

Life

In 1827, Heinrich Honegger and his brother Caspar took over the management of their parents' factory "Im Widacher", a district of Rüti. In 1829 the two brothers separated.

On August 13, 1852, Heinrich Honegger acquired the mechanical weaving mill Josef Maier and Co. in Lauchringen , thereby establishing the weaving mill known as the "Honeggerei". As early as 1858, 150 workers were employed on 6000 spindles and 150 looms.

The weaving mill was in operation until 1955 and was located in the vicinity of Lauffenmühle and was still used as a warehouse after the takeover.
