Henry I of Lausanne
Henry of Burgundy (* in the 10th century; † August 21, 1018 in Lausanne ) was Bishop of Lausanne from 985 to 1018 .
Life
Heinrich was a nephew of Empress Adelheid and son of Rudolf II and was ordained Bishop of Lausanne in 985. It appeared between 993 and 1018 in several diplomas from the Burgundian King Rudolf III. who gave him the county of Vaud in 1011 . In 1007 he took part in the Synod of Frankfurt . He died a violent death, presumably as a victim of the conflict between Rudolf III. and Emperor Heinrich II.
