Heinrich Kositzki

Heinrich Kositzki (born December 18, 1904 in Witten ; † July 11, 1972 ) was a German politician ( SPD ). From 1950 to 1966 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

Heinrich Kositzki attended elementary school and then completed a craft apprenticeship. From 1923 to 1945 he worked as a model carpenter. After 1948 he worked for a newspaper publisher.

Kositzki had joined the SPD in 1923 and became a member of the German Metalworkers' Association in the same year. He was a co-founder of the Reich Banner Black-Red-Gold . In 1945 Kositzki became mayor of Wengern , and from February 1947 to December 1952 he was mayor of Volmarstein . Since 1948 he was a member of the Ennepe-Ruhr district council .

Kositzki was elected to the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament as a direct candidate in constituency 124 (Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis-Nord) from the 2nd to the 5th electoral term; he was a member of the parliament from July 5, 1950 to July 23, 1966.
