Heinrich Kratina

Heinrich Kratina (born January 15, 1906 in Essen , † November 10, 1944 in Cologne-Ehrenfeld ) was a German communist resistance fighter against National Socialism as a member of the Ehrenfeld group .

Life

Heinrich Kratina acted like Peter Hüppeler out of communist convictions. The others in the group were deserted Wehrmacht soldiers , Jews in hiding and forced laborers who had escaped . Heinrich Kratina was one of those who were hanged in public on Hüttenstrasse on November 10, 1944 without trial.
