Heinrich Papenburger

Heinrich Papenburger (* 1558 in Hildesheim , † June 10, 1606 in Wunstorf ) was a German Lutheran theologian and general superintendent of the General Diocese of Calenberg .

Life

Papenburger was a son of the citizen and tailor Caspar Papenburger. He was initially a professor of the Greek language at the University of Helmstedt and in 1593 became the first pastor and senior monastery in Wunstorf as well as general superintendent of the general diocese of Calenberg.
