Heinrich Rinne

Heinrich Rinne (born December 17, 1882 in Hanover , † May 30, 1953 in Alfeld (Leine) ) was a German politician ( SPD ), member of the Lower Saxony state parliament , member of the appointee Lower Saxony state parliament and member of the appointee Hanover state parliament .

After attending primary school in Alfeld, Heinrich Rinne trained as a moulder . He joined the SPD in 1911. During the First World War , he did military service from 1914 to 1918, until he was wounded and temporarily unable to work. After his recovery he worked in a Gdańsk steel foundry and joined the Gdańsk Workers-Soldiers Council in 1918. He returned from Danzig to Alfeld and initially worked there in the profession he had learned. From 1925 he became branch manager at Hildesheimer Volksblatt .

Politically, he was active as a city councilor from 1919 to 1933, and as a district council member and district committee member from 1925 to 1933. During the Nazi era , he was taken into protective custody and remand three times. After the end of the Second World War , he became mayor of Alfeld in 1945 and, from 1947, district administrator in the Alfeld district (Leine) .

From August 23, 1946 to October 29, 1946, he was a member of the appointed Hanover State Parliament, from December 9, 1946 to March 28, 1947 a member of the appointed Lower Saxony State Parliament and from April 20, 1947 to May 30, 1953 a member of the Lower Saxony State Parliament (1 and 2nd electoral term). He took over the chairmanship of the submission committee from June 13, 1951 to May 30, 1953.
