Heinrich Sander (writer)
Heinrich Sander (born November 25, 1754 in Köndringen , † October 5, 1782 in Karlsruhe ) was a German teacher and writer.
Sander was the son of superintendent Nikolaus Christian Sander (1722–1794); his brother was the Karlsruhe Oberkirchenrat Nicolaus Sander . He studied theology in Tübingen and economics in Göttingen . In 1775 he became professor of natural history and eloquence at the illustrious grammar school in Karlsruhe . Sander, honorary member of the Berlin Society of Natural Research Friends and the Princely Anhalt German Society in Bernburg, undertook several trips on which he made the acquaintance of Klopstock , Wieland , Goethe and Lessing , among others .
In addition to educational and philosophical-scientific writings, he also wrote works on theology and his famous travelogues.
