Heinrich Strätling

Heinrich Strätling (born November 30, 1871 in Bochum , † 1950 in Ennigerloh ) was a German industrialist.

Life

After attending high school in Bochum, Heinrich Strätling studied medicine in Munich and Berlin. In Munich he became a member of the Corps Brunsviga in 1894 . After graduating, he worked as a chemist in Cologne, Rüdersdorf and Beckum. In 1900 he was one of the founders of Finkenberg AG for Portland cement and water lime production in Ennigerloh near Beckum, of which he became the sole director.

Strätling was a member of the executive committee of Westdeutsche Zement-Verband GmbH, a representative of Section V of the quarry trade association and a member of various municipal, economic and political bodies. He was on the supervisory boards of various companies.
