Heinrich Weckler

Heinrich Weckler (also called "Heinrich Weckler III" to differentiate between namesake) (born October 1, 1894 in Rockenberg ; † July 28, 1958 ) was a Hessian farmer, agricultural functionary and politician ( center , CDU ) and a member of the state parliament of Hesse in the Weimar Republic .

Heinrich Weckler was the son of the farmer Heinrich II. Weckler and his wife Katarina, nee Groß. He was married to his wife Elisabeth, née Krämer and of Roman Catholic faith.

Heinrich Weckler was a farmer and subordinate in Rockenberg. He was a member of the Hessian Chamber of Agriculture. As a member of the center, Weckler was a member of the state parliament for three electoral terms from 1924 to 1933, at times he was vice-president of parliament. After the seizure of power by the Nazis, he was unable to continue his political work more. After the Second World War, now as a CDU politician, he became mayor of his home town of Rockenberg. He held the office until his death.
