Heinrich von Böckenförde called Schüngel (also Bokenforde ) († December 1437 ) was Landmeister of the Teutonic Order in Livonia .

Life

He came from the Westphalian noble family Böckenförde called Schüngel . His father was Degenhard von Böckenförde. He was Vogt of Narva from 1426 to 1428 . From 1430 to 1432 he was Commander of the Coming Ascheraden . Then he was Commander of Reval until 1434 . In 1433 he was the first candidate for the office of landmaster. A “Rhineland” and a “Westphalian” party faced each other in the election. The Rhenish side prevailed. He was then land marshal of the Teutonic Order in Livonia in 1434 and 1435 .
