Heinrich von der Groeben

Heinrich Ludwig Wilhelm Gotthilf Graf von der Groeben (born August 12, 1857 in Groß Schwansfeld , † November 18, 1927 in Meran ) was a Prussian manor owner and member of parliament.

Life

Heinrich von der Groeben was born as the son of Majoratsherr Graf Ludwig von der Groeben (* June 21, 1815 - March 9, 1889) on Groß Schwansfeld and Marie Luise, née. von Arnim (born July 11, 1832; † November 14, 1880). His father was a member of the Prussian manor house .

After attending the Brandenburg Knight Academy , which he left with the one-year certificate, he studied in Bonn. In 1878 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . He became Fideikommissherr on Groß Schwansfeld.

Von der Groeben was a member of the Prussian manor house from 1894 to 1918 . He was married to Gertrud von Blanckenburg . They had five sons and three daughters. He lived in Meran from autumn 1925 until his death.
