Heinz-Hermann Kruger

Heinz-Hermann Krüger (* 1947 ) is a German educational scientist and has been professor of general educational science at the Martin Luther University in Halle-Wittenberg since 1991 .

Live and act

From 1968 to the first state examination for teaching at grammar schools in 1972, Krüger studied pedagogy, German, sociology and philosophy at the University of Bochum. In 1976 he received his doctorate in educational science as Dr. phil. with Jakob Muth and Klaus Schaller. From 1973 to 1986 he worked as a research assistant for general pedagogy at the University of Dortmund, where he completed his habilitation in 1982 with a study of school theory. After working as the head of a DFG project at the Fernuniversität Hagen and two professorships at the University of Marburg, Heinz-Hermann Krüger has been Professor of General Education at the Martin Luther University in Halle since 1991. He has now published 28 monographs (one in English, one in Polish), 53 edited volumes (seven in English) and over 250 articles in peer-reviewed journals and anthologies (18 in English, two in Portuguese and two in Polish).
