Heinz-Karl Konrad

Heinz-Karl Konrad (born February 12, 1920 in Königsberg ) is a German actor .

Life

In 1945 Heinz-Karl Konrad began his stage career, which took him to theaters in Aschersleben, Cottbus, Greifswald, Halberstadt and Weimar, before joining the Dresden State Theater in 1964 . He was part of the ensemble there until 1992, and then continued to appear as a guest until he left the stage in 2001. Of the roughly 200 roles played, Konrad played 60 in Dresden alone, including 1965 in The Black Swan by Martin Walser and 1973 in Rainer Kerndl's When comes Ehrlicher? . Konrad also played the Midge in Herb Gardner's play Ich bin nicht Rappaport , the landlord Dobtschinski in Nikolai Gogol's Auditor, and Telegin in Uncle Vanya and Ferapont in Three Sisters , each by Anton Chekhov .

Since the beginning of the 1960s, Konrad has been in front of the camera occasionally, including several times in the series Stories about the garden fence and Polizeiruf 110 . In 2005 he was seen in the award-winning short film Pizza Amore by Achim Wendel .
