Heinz Kegel (politician)

Heinz Kegel (born April 4, 1921 in Beuthen ; † March 30, 2003 ) was a German SPD politician .

education and profession

Heinz Kegel attended elementary school, the trade union school and from 1951 to 1952 the Academy of Labor in Frankfurt am Main . He worked as an electrician and was a Reichsbahn employee. He was called up for military service and worked as a type machine operator in the coal industry.

politics

Heinz Kegel was a member of the SPD from 1952. Also from 1952 he worked as a union secretary and from 1960 was a board member of IG Bergbau und Energie. From 1961 he worked as a member of the Advisory Committee of the High Authority of the European Coal and Steel Community.

From July 23, 1962 to July 23, 1966, Heinz Kegel was a member of the 5th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia , which he entered via the state list.
