Heinz Kempa

Heinz Kempa (born December 5, 1933 , † December 16, 2000 ) was a German judo functionary .

From 1969 to 1978 he was Secretary General of the German Judo Association of the GDR and from 1978 to 1994 Secretary General of the International Judo Federation . In 1995, Heinz Kempa was honored with the IOC's highest honor , the Olympic Order . The holder of the 5th DAN is an honorary member of the World Federation in recognition of his services to the international judo sport.
