Heinz Klingenberg (Medievalist)

Heinz Klingenberg (born October 9, 1934 in Nauen ) is a German Germanic and Scandinavian medievalist and runologist .

Heinz Klingenberg received his doctorate in 1959 at the University of Freiburg , where he also received his habilitation in 1970, was appointed associate professor in 1973 and was professor of Scandinavian studies from 1979 until his retirement in 2000.
