Heinz Kluge (handball player)

Heinz Kluge (born February 1, 1921 ; † September 30, 2001 ) was a German handball player .

Heinz Kluge played field handball and indoor handball in Burgstädt . With the Burgstädtern he won the Rochlitz district championship in 1948 and rose to the Sachsenliga in 1950 and in the GDR league in 1952/1953 ; 1952/1953 he took part with the team in the GDR championship in indoor handball.

In 1950 he was appointed to the first selection of the men's national handball team in the GDR and took part in three international matches against Hungary.
