Heinz Läßker

Heinz Läßker (born October 14, 1925 ). A former German football player who played in the GDR Oberliga , the top division in GDR football for BSG Mechanik Gera in 1950 .

Athletic career

The short career of Heinz Läßker in the GDR league began on September 3, 1950 with the encounter on the 1st match day of the 1950/51 season. In the game Motor Zwickau - Mechanik Gera, which ended with a 0-1 defeat for Gera against the reigning GDR champions, the 24-year-old Läßker was called up by coach Erich Dietel as a right winger . Then Läßker played all 17 subsequent first round games of the company sports community (BSG) Mechanics. He was mainly used as a striker on the left wing after his debut during the season. Läßker scored his only top division goal on matchday 11 in the 1: 4 away defeat at BSG Motor Dessau . After the winter break, Heinz Läßker no longer appeared in the Gera squad and later no longer in the national game operations.
