Heinz Mäde

Heinz Mäde (born June 10, 1916 in Böhlitz-Ehrenberg , † November 16, 2004 in Langendorf near Weißenfels ) was a German painter.

Mäde had initially process engraver learned. As a 30-year-old, he studied after the war at the University of Graphic and Book Art in Leipzig with Ernst Hassebrauk and Kurt Maßloff, among others .

Heinz Mäde always worked in the background and was very introverted. At the beginning of his artistic work there were mainly impressionistic works. Then he switched to simple and poetic depictions with a mischievous touch of naivety, especially landscapes and still lifes.

His works became known in numerous exhibitions even before his death.
