Heinz Nessizius (* 1951 in Vienna ) is an Austrian musician, lyricist and music producer.

Career

From 1977 until the concert “50 Years Drahdiwaberl - The very last Mulatschag” in Vienna in October 2019, Nessizius was a lyricist, stage actor and singer for the band Drahdiwaberl. Nessizius wrote lyrics for Drahdiwaberl , Falco's early band Spinning Wheel, Westend and The Untouchables. In 1984 he produced the LP Kottan's Kapelle for the band of the same name together with Helmut Zenker . While he was the A&R manager at Gig Records , Falco's hit Rock Me Amadeus was also produced, which made it into the US charts as No. 1. 1984 Production and recording management of the LP " Robert der Teuxel ", a reading by Helmut Qualtinger.

He lives and works in Vienna and the USA and has a son.

In 1983 he wrote the lyrics together with Helmut Deinboek for the song Hurricane, with which the band Westend competed for Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest and reached 9th place.
