Heinz Schultze (SS member)

Heinz Schultze (born November 17, 1911 in Buchfart , Weimar District, Thuringia , † September 18, 1941 ) was a German National Socialist functionary.

Life

Born the son of a farmer, Schultze became a member of the NS student union in 1930 . In 1932 he joined the NSDAP (membership number 1,287,808), as well as the SS (membership number 52,831). As a student of sports and natural sciences in Marburg (Lahn), he had been a leader in the local student body since 1935 and became the acting university group leader of the National Socialist German Student Union . From 1935 he was also deputy, from 1938 head student leader for Kurhessen . After Schultze received his doctorate under Erich Jaensch in 1939 , he taught at the SS Junker School in Braunschweig until 1941. Promoted to SS-Hauptsturmführer in 1939, he was transferred to the 9th Infantry Regiment of the Waffen-SS in May 1941, where he was involved in the German attack on the Soviet Union . He was killed on September 18, 1941 as part of the war.
