Heinz Weigel (born June 20, 1930 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

The young striker Heinz Weigel was part of the SG Planitz team from 1948 .

He then played in the 1949/50 season for Arminia Bielefeld in the then first-class Oberliga West . There he came only to one mission without a goal and could not prevent the direct relegation of Bielefeld. Weigel then moved to BFC Alemannia 90 in the first-class Berlin contract league . Here he completed three missions without a goal in the fall series of 1950. According to another source, he temporarily returned to the GDR and played for the national class team activist "Karl Marx" Zwickau .

In 1951 Weigel joined VfB Oldenburg , where he met the former Planitz coach Kurt Schmidt . With him and three other Oldenburgers, he went to Bayern Hof a year later . In 1957 Weigel then moved to Tennis Borussia Berlin , where he was able to celebrate the championship in the 1957/58 season . Weigel scored a goal in the decisive game against Viktoria 89 . In the final round of the German championship , Weigel was used in two of the three group games, but TeBe finished last in the group without winning points. In 1959 Weigel left Tennis Borussia with an unknown destination. In the contract league Berlin Heinz Weigel completed 15 league games and scored five goals.
