The farmer from the Au, Markus Müller grave has a best friend to Foreman Kilian, has saved the lives ever since him. Ever since he had bad experiences with women, he has been on bad terms with them. The two maids adore the farmer, but Kilian always knows what to do. Then Christl comes to the farm and wants to start as a maid , but has little idea about the work on the farm. Kilian helps her, but the farmer misinterprets the matter and ends the friendship. But in the end Christl and Markus find each other.
