The Heitsi gHub (in Khoekhoe ) is an archaeological place of worship in Bethany in the region ǁKaras Region in Namibia . It has been a National Monument of Namibia since March 1st, 1961 .
These are individual stones that have been piled up to form a small pyramid. Traditionally, a gift was placed on the Heitsi Ghub to ask for security and company for an upcoming trip.
