The Ljubljana thermal power station (Slovenian: Termoelectrarna Toplarna Ljubljana , short TE-TOL ) is a thermal power station in Ljubljana , which covers almost 90% of the city's district heating needs. It has three coal-fired units which went into operation in 1966, 1967 and 1984 and deliver 42 MW, 32 MW and 50 MW electricity and 94 MW, 94 MW and 152 MW heat, respectively. A special feature of the 101-meter-high chimney of the power plant is a gallery that looks like a viewing platform , but houses devices for monitoring the composition of the flue gases.
