Hejing
Hejing ( Chinese 和 静 县 , Pinyin Héjìng Xiàn ; Uighur خېجىڭ ناھىيىسى Hejing Naⱨiyisi ) is a district in the north of the Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous District in the mid-southeast of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China . Its main town is the Hejing community (和 静 鎮). The district has an area of 34,983.67 km² and approx. 190,000 inhabitants (2008).
Administrative structure
At the community level, Hejing is made up of eight large communities and four communities . These are:
- Greater community Hejing (和静镇), seat of the district government;
- Greater community Balgantai (巴仑台镇);
- Greater community Barun Har Modon (巴润哈尔莫墩镇);
- Greater community Bayanbulak (巴音布鲁克镇);
- Har Modon Municipality (哈尔莫 墩镇);
- Greater community Künesgol (巩乃斯镇);
- Greater community Naiman Modon (乃门莫墩镇);
- Greater community Xelmir Buh (协比乃尔布呼镇).
- Algu municipality (阿拉 沟乡);
- Municipality Bayan Gol (巴音郭愣乡);
- Elzet Ul municipality (额 勒 再 特乌鲁 乡);
- Community Hirgut (克尔古提乡);
- There are also three farms belonging to the production and construction corps and two state farms in the district .
Culture
The graves of Chawuhu ( Cháwúhū gǔmùqún察 吾 乎 古墓 群) from the transition between the Bronze and Iron Ages (some experts speak of a Chawuhu culture ) have been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 2001 (5-190) .
