Helen Galashan (born July 23, 1987 in Beverley ) is a British water diver . She starts for the City of Leeds Diving Club in the disciplines 10 m tower and synchronized diving . In synchronized competitions, she jumps alongside her twin sister Carol Galashan .

Galashan started first for the Liverpool Gymnastics Club and later for the Wigan Gymnastics Club in gymnastics . In this sport she took part in the Commonwealth Games in 2002 and 2006 for Scotland . In 2007 she switched to water diving with her twin sister Carol and in 2010 she took part in the Commonwealth Games for the third time , this time in water diving.

Her greatest sporting success so far was winning the bronze medal at the 2009 European Championships in Turin in the 10 m synchronous competition. In the 10 m high diving she was fifth.
