Helen Heng

Helen Heng (* 1932 ) is a former badminton player from Singapore .

Career

Heng celebrated her first major international success in 1948 at the Malaysian Open , when she won both the women's singles and doubles with Alice Pennefather . A year later Helen Heng was again successful in the women's singles at the same event.

In 1949, she won the final in women's doubles with her sister Mary Sim against Ong Heng Kwee and Alice Pennefather at the national championships in Singapore . In 1947 Heng was together with Nellie Loo in the final of the women's doubles of the Singapore Junior Championships against Lau Hui Keow and Tay Kim It. In 1950 Heng defended her two titles in singles and doubles at the Singapore Open .
