Helga Erlinger

Helga Erlinger (born April 11, 1947 in Hainburg an der Donau ) is a former Austrian politician ( Greens ). From 1988 to 1989 she was a member of the National Council .

Life

After completing compulsory school, Erlinger attended the business school of the Viennese merchants. She then worked in the private sector and switched to banking in 1974. She then worked as a management assistant at Victoria Volksbanken and as a training trainer for bank employees.

In addition to her professional activity, Erlinger was also a works councilor at Volksbank Hainburg.

Erlinger joined the non-partisan citizens' list in Hainburg, which she also represented on the local council between 1985 and 1988. She was also a member of the board of directors of the Green Alternative and from 1986 to 1988 a member of the Green Education Workshop in Lower Austria. In addition, from 1987 she was a member of the federal board of the Green Educational Workshop and treasurer of the Association of Independent Municipal Councils of Lower Austria.

Between December 12, 1988 and December 27, 1989 Erlinger represented the Greens in the National Council.

In the state elections in Lower Austria in 1993, Erlinger supported the ÖVP governor Erwin Pröll as a member of a personal committee.
