Helga Weinberger

Helga Weinberger (born February 11, 1953 in Allhartsmais ) is a Bavarian politician ( CSU ) and was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament from 2003 to 2008 . She is the deputy district administrator of the Freyung-Grafenau district .

education and profession

After secondary school, Helga Weinberger trained as a secretary and then worked for 25 years as a secretary in the Episcopal Ordinariate in Passau. Helga Weinberger is a Roman Catholic, widowed and mother of two children.

politics

Helga Weinberger has been a CSU member since March 9, 1991. Since October 1, 1990, she has also been a member of the Women's Union (FU). At the FU she is the district chairwoman and member of the Lower Bavaria district board. From 1984 to 1990 she was a local councilor and from 1996 to 2008 honorary mayor of Schöfweg. Since May 1, 1996 she has also been a district councilor.

Since October 6, 2003 she was a member of the state parliament and there a member of the committee for municipal issues and internal security . In the state elections in 2008 she achieved, after Gerhard Waschler, the second best result of a CSU list candidate. However, since the nine state parliament mandates won by the CSU were already filled with electoral district candidates , she and Mr Waschler lost her state parliament mandate and is now the second successor in Lower Bavaria.
