Helga Zülch

Helga Zülch (born November 11, 1920 in Bockum-Hövel , † February 1, 1949 in Buchholz near Hamburg) was a German theater and film actress .

Life

From 1938 she attended the Immermann drama school in Düsseldorf. She had her first engagements at the Deutsches Theater in Warsaw and at the Volksbühne in Berlin. In Berlin she worked with Heinrich George , Karl-Heinz Martin and Eugen Klöpfer in classical and modern roles, including as "Jenny" in the Threepenny Opera . What made her popular above all was her role as partner of Hans Albers in Liliom , in which she appeared in Berlin and Hamburg. The actress married the Bulgarian Michael Magaritoff in 1948. On February 1, 1949, Zülch was killed in an accident on the autobahn near Buchholz.
