Helge-Björn Meyer

Helge-Björn Meyer (* 1968 ) is a German dramaturge.

Meyer studied theater studies and philosophy at the University of Leipzig . At the Theater Magdeburg , he worked from 2004 to 2006 dance and music theater dramaturge. From 2001 to 2004 he worked as a dramaturge at the Bremen Theater. As a guest dramaturge he worked a. a. at the Maxim-Gorki-Theater Berlin, at the Schauspiel Leipzig , at the German National Theater Weimar , at the Theaterhaus Stuttgart , at the City Theater Bozen , for the Biennale di Venezia and at the Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro . Since 2009 he has been working as a dramaturgical advisor for dance at the Graz Opera. Meyer also worked as a dramaturge for the German feature film " Bedways " (2010 / director: RP Kahl). In 2009 he was responsible for the audio book "Sexus" (based on Henry Miller).
