Helios Farrell
Helios Farrell (* around 1925 ; † January 15, 2014 ) was a Mexican table tennis player and official. He took part in the 1971 World Cup. He was honored with the ITTF Merit Award .

Helios Farrell won many national titles in Mexico in the 1960s and 1970s. For the first time he became Mexican champion in 1963. In 1971 he was nominated for the world championship , where he appeared individually and with the team, but did not come close to medals.

Helios Farrell was President of the Mexican Table Tennis Association. In 1973 he was one of the founders of the Latin American Table Tennis Union and was its first president. He held this office until 1995. Because of his services to table tennis, he was awarded the ITTF Merit Award in 1991 .
Helios Farrell died on January 15, 2014 at the age of 88.
