Hella Heizmann und seine Rasselbande (also: Hella Heizmann and her children's choir , Hella and her rascals , Hellas Rasselbande or Die Rasselbande ) was a children's choir with and under the direction of Hella Heizmann .

history

As the mother of two daughters, Hella Heizmann decided in the early 1980s to publish an album with contemporary Christian children's songs . In collaboration with the pastor and copywriter Johannes Jourdan , a number of modern children's psalms were created. In 1983 the concept appeared under the title Hallelujah with Hands and Feet , sung by the songwriter herself - but mostly by a specially compiled children's choir under the name Hella Heizmann and her children's choir . The sustained success of her children's music prompted Hella Heizmann to devote herself exclusively to children's music in the years that followed. So she soon organized up to five children’s free time a year all over Germany. From the numerous children's voices in this work, Hella Heizmann selected suitable singers for her children's choir, which soon became known as the “Rasselbande”, with which she made her music recordings as well as musical tours throughout Germany.
