The Corsican hellebore ( Helleborus argutifolius ) is a species of the buttercup family . Synonyms of their scientific name are Helleborus corsicus Willd. or Helleborus lividus Aiton subsp. corsicus (Willd.) P. Fourn.
description
The flowers of this very early flowering species appear in late winter and early spring. It is robust and evergreen and has cup-shaped, nodding, green flowers that stand on an upright inflorescence over spiky, dark green leaves.
The leaves are clumpy and are 60 centimeters high and 60 to 90 centimeters wide.

The species tolerates sun and drought very well.
