The Hellenbach de Paczolay family is a Hungarian noble family who originated in Bohemia .
history
Jeremias Hellenbach, who moved from Kemnitz in Bohemia to Hungary, was mentioned by name as the first member of this family. He settled in Hont County and worked in the iron industry.
His son Johannes Gottfried Hellenbach († 1728) studied medicine at the Leucorea University in Wittenberg and received his doctorate in medicine. Later he was the personal physician of Emperor Leopold I , who made him a baron and later an imperial councilor as well as chamber count (imperial tax collector for mines).
The Hellenbach family was related by marriage to the Hungarian nobility . B. with the families Stainlein, Bory de Bori és Borfői , Falkenstein, Zay von Csömör and Földvary.
