Hellfried Boehm

Hellfried Böhm (born March 14, 1942 in Graz ) is an Austrian visual artist , photographer and author .

Live and act

He grew up in a family of photographers, was already at primary school age in the darkroom of his grandfather Franz Josef Böhm and took his first pictures with a very simple camera box . In 1959 he won a photo competition for the first time . He was an Austrian commercial attaché in India, Romania, Peru, the Philippines, Egypt and Mexico. This sharpened and shaped his photographic view as well as his feeling for colors and shapes.

The artist has lived and worked in Austria since 1997. Here he began to deal with Photoübermalungen as well as photo editing and works with modern digital printmaking techniques such Giclee -Printing on canvas and digital printing . Hellfried Böhm exhibited his pictures in numerous exhibitions in Austria and other countries.
