Hellmuth Hron (born September 15, 1933 in Budapest , † October 23, 2002 in Vienna ) was an Austrian actor .

biography

Hellmuth Hron was born in Budapest to Austrian parents. When he was still a young man, his parents moved with him to Vienna . At first he began a commercial apprenticeship in a hardware store, but the desire to become an actor soon developed and he took private acting lessons from Dorothea Neff .

First engagements in Theater Experiment , Theater der Courage , Ateliertheater , Theater der Jugend , Volkstheater , Burgtheater . This was followed by five years of Kleine Komödie , where he played numerous leading roles in tabloids, various tours in Germany , one year in Zurich , three years in the cabaret Simpl . In 1970 he made a guest appearance together with the ensemble of the Theater der Courage under the direction of Stella Kadmon with the silhouette by Paul Pörtner in Israel .

In 1972 he took part in the tour with the Vienna Tourneetheater with the performance of Andorra by Max Frisch through Germany and the Netherlands . Since 1973 he has played repeatedly in the Theater in der Josefstadt and in the Kammerspiele , and from the 1991/92 season Hellmuth Hron was a member of the ensemble in the Theater in der Josefstadt.

He was buried at the Heiligenstädter Friedhof (N-TU-7).
